Tom Brady made the rounds for multiple reasons in the offseason. First, everybody talked about his retirement, then it was all about his comeback.

But perhaps the most interesting report about one of the greatest QBs ever was that about the Miami Dolphins openly tampering to get him and Sean Payton before all the Brian Flores debacle.

That has to be awkward if you're Tua Tagovailoa, especially now that they're conducting joint practices with the Buccaneers.

He Shuts Down All The Noise

When asked about him, the Alabama product simply said, "Yeah, I mean, I'm still here. To me, that's all noise at this point." But then he elaborated and admitted his frustration over this never-ending story:

"I would say the only thing that gets frustrating is if you hear it every day or if you see it every day," Tua told ESPN. "For me, I eliminate all of that. Don't hear it. Don't see it. I go home, go to my family, study, wake up the next day, come back and enjoy football.

Tua Is Done Talking About This

Tua doesn't want to go through all this anymore, as he's done being politically correct about potentially being benched by Brady:

"I hear everything obviously from the media and then when [the communications staff] preps me for whatever you guys are going to say, then I'm like, 'Ah, I've got to answer this. All right, let me figure out something politically correct to say,'" Tua added.

Mike McDaniel Says It's Not Awkward

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel is done with this subject as well. He claims it doesn't have to be awkward to practice together, and the only ones making it a story are those who insist in fueling controversy:

"For me, nothing happened. Everyone else is the one making it awkward," McDaniel said. "It doesn't occupy a single iota of space with anybody. It's hard enough to be good in this league. As the Miami Dolphins, all of our energy is very coordinated and only has to do with us getting better and everything else would be an opportunity cost that we're not willing to expend."

Is The Plan Still In Motion?

Tua is on thin ice right now. The Dolphins went to great lengths to put him in a position to succeed as he enters his third season in the league, and he's been far from the two-way phenom he was during his days in Alabama.

So, we already know the Dolphins' ties to Brady and they'll likely keep tabs on him during another potential farewell season. That's a lot of pressure to deal with for Tua and the Dolphins.
